Permanent Lighting Built For Columbus Homes

Columbus has the best scarlet-and-gray use case in the country — fourteen fall Saturdays where your whole house can match the stadium. We install across the metro including Dublin, Powell, New Albany, Westerville, Upper Arlington, and Hilliard.

Central Ohio delivers snow and sustained freezing temperatures in winter, humid storm-heavy summers, and constant freeze-thaw movement in between. Fixtures are mounted to the fascia with proper fastening so seasonal expansion does not pull them loose.

What you actually get is one system that works all year. Most Columbus homeowners run a soft warm white most nights, which defines gables, dormers, and peaks the way permanent soffit lighting does — then switch to Scarlet and gray every autumn Saturday, Blue Jackets union blue, and every holiday preset.

Why Columbus Chooses Avid

Scheduled Here, Commercial Parts

Scheduled in Columbus

Columbus is an active market, so an estimate is usually on the calendar within 48 hours, and the install date holds once it is booked. If something needs attention later, you call the same number.

Specified for this climate

Freezing winters and humid summers is exactly what the fixtures we install are rated for. Sealed housings, weather-rated connections, and mechanical fastening instead of adhesive.

Any color, any night

16 million colors with individually addressable pixels, so multi-color scenes read as real patterns. Scarlet and gray every autumn Saturday, Blue Jackets union blue, and every holiday preset.

Best home improvement investment we have made. The turf looks better than real grass and we completely eliminated our water bill in the front yard.

Columbus Questions

Asked Locally

How soon can you schedule in Columbus?
Columbus is one of our 11 permanent lighting markets, which is why we can usually schedule an on-site estimate within 48 hours and hold an install date once it is booked.
Will the fixtures hold up in Columbus weather?
Central Ohio delivers snow and sustained freezing temperatures in winter, humid storm-heavy summers, and constant freeze-thaw movement in between. Fixtures are mounted to the fascia with proper fastening so seasonal expansion does not pull them loose.
What areas around Columbus do you cover?
We install throughout the Central Ohio area, including Dublin, Powell, New Albany, Westerville, Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Worthington, Gahanna, Grove City, Lewis Center, and Pickerington. If you are nearby but not on that list, call or text us — we almost certainly cover you.
How much does permanent lighting cost in Columbus?
Pricing is based on the linear footage of your roofline, and a typical single-family home runs about 100 to 130 linear feet. Beyond footage, roofline complexity, the number of zones, and access all affect the number — and labor rates genuinely differ between our markets. We measure on site and give you an exact written price, free and with no deposit. Our pricing guide explains every factor in detail.
Will my Columbus HOA allow permanent lighting?
Usually, yes. The channel mounts flush to the fascia and is color-matched to your trim, so it reads as architectural detail rather than a seasonal decoration — and many HOA rules restrict decorations by date while permitting permanent fixtures. We can provide product specifications and photos for your architectural review committee, and we recommend getting written approval first if your community requires it.
Is artificial turf available in Columbus?
Not yet. Artificial turf and putting greens are currently limited to the St. George, Utah area. We keep a waitlist by city — tell us you are interested and we will reach out when we expand to Columbus.
