These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://avidhomeservices.com and your interactions withAvid Home Services LLC ("Avid Home Services," "we," "us"). By using this site or requesting an estimate, you agree to these Terms.

Use of this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes related to learning about and requesting our services. You agree not to attempt to interfere with the site's operation, scrape it at a volume that degrades service, or submit false information through our forms.

Information on this site is not a quote

Everything on this site — including pricing guides, cost ranges, articles, and service descriptions — is general information to help you plan. It is not an offer, a quote, or a guarantee of price, timeline, or outcome for your property.

Pricing is determined only by a written estimate. Linear footage, roof access, trim type, story count, electrical availability, yard grade, drainage, access width, and material selection all change cost. We do not publish a flat rate because we cannot price a property we have not measured.

Estimates

On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. An estimate becomes binding only when it is delivered in writing and accepted in writing by you. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate document; after that, material costs may require re-pricing.

If conditions discovered during installation materially differ from what was visible at the estimate — for example, hidden rot behind fascia, an undersized or unsafe electrical supply, or buried utilities and irrigation not disclosed or marked — we will stop, inform you, and provide a written change order before continuing. You are not charged for additional work you have not approved.

Scheduling, access, and your responsibilities

You agree to:

Confirm that you own the property or are authorized to approve the work
Obtain any required HOA or architectural committee approval before installation
Provide safe access to the work area, including gates, side yards, and exterior outlets
Disclose and, where applicable, have marked the location of irrigation lines, low-voltage wiring, septic components, and other buried items
Secure pets during work hours

Installation dates are targets, not guarantees. Weather, permit timing, HOA review, material lead times, and conditions at prior jobs can shift a date. We will communicate changes as soon as we know about them.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated on your written estimate or contract. Work is scheduled after the deposit, if any, is received. Final payment is due on completion unless your agreement states otherwise. Financing, where offered, is provided by third-party lenders under their own terms, and approval is their decision, not ours.

Cancellation

You may cancel before materials are ordered or custom-fabricated for your property; any refund of a deposit in that case is handled per your written agreement. Once material has been cut, fabricated, or ordered specifically for your job, those costs are not refundable. Where state law grants you a statutory right to cancel within a set period, that right applies regardless of anything in these Terms.

Warranty

Warranty coverage for materials and labor is described in your written estimate or contract. That document controls. In general, warranties do not cover:

Damage from storms, fire, flood, vandalism, or other events outside our control
Damage caused by other trades, pressure washing, roof work, or third-party repairs
Modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than us
Damage from failure to follow care instructions provided at handoff
Electrical supply problems originating in the home's wiring
Normal wear, including turf matting in high-traffic lanes and gradual fiber color change from UV exposure

Warranty service requires that the original installation remain in place and that you contact us rather than a third party. Warranty coverage is for the original purchaser at the installed property and transfers only if your agreement says so.

Photography

We photograph completed work for our portfolio and may use exterior images on our website and social media. We do not publish your name, street address, or interior photos. If you prefer we not photograph your property, tell your crew lead or email us and we will note it on your file.

Reviews shown on this site are from real customers. Individual results vary with property conditions, selections, and use. A testimonial is not a promise of the same outcome.

Intellectual property

The text, photography, layout, and design on this site are owned by Avid Home Services LLC or used with permission, and may not be reproduced without written consent. Product and brand names belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the website or any project is limited to the amount you paid us for the project at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for personal injury caused by our negligence.

This site is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Disputes

We would rather solve a problem than argue about it — contact us first and give us a fair chance to make it right. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and venue lies in Washington County, Utah, unless the project is located in another state, in which case the laws and venue of that state apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Your signed estimate or contract always controls over these Terms if the two conflict.
